Deputy chairman of AKP, Yasin Aktay says that, Turkey is offering conditional reconciliation to Egypt
Ankara has two conditions before it will reconcile relations with Egypt.
ALL PRISONERS WHO WERE DETAINED AFTER THE ISOLATION OF FORMER PRESIDENT MORSI
“All prisoners who were detained after the isolation of former President Mohamed Morsi must be freed, then free and fair elections should take place,” Aktay told the Anadolu Agency.
Aktay said Ankara supports any reconciliation involving all elements of Egyptian society.
TURKEY ALWAYS ADVISES EGYPT TO SEEK MODERATION
“Turkey always advises Egypt to seek moderation and advises all countries to be fair towards their people,” he added.
Aktay explained that everyone who was arrested after 3 July 2013 is innocent and therefore must be freed, adding that Ankara sees evident injustice in Egypt now and can not remain silent.
“The current administration in Egypt should treat the people with respect.”
